This is one of my favorite mixtapes which I recorded during my time in Los Angeles/California. I think I like it so much because of the tracks that I used. Or maybe it’s not the tracks but more the memories I share with that magic place called LA-LA-LAND. Or maybe both… whatever. The first three tracks are deep, dark & delicious influenced by the Venice Beach vibes while sunset. Jacob #Groening’s ‚Kemal‘ and #Audiojacks remix of Emanuel #Satie’s ‚All Things Go‘ are a perfect match… followed up by David K’s absolutely insane ‚Insane Dub‘.
Coming up next is #Waff’s ‚Jo Johnson‘, Jamie #Trench with ‚Velvet Curtains‘ and Kevin #Over’s ‚Basic Cut‘. What they have in common? They are some bloody beasts of house music! Now it’s time for my favorite track of the week by Emanuel #Satié called ‚To The Roots‘! No more need to say anything about this one… just listen and enjoy!
After all that groove I felt like there was a need for some deeper electronic vibes… so I chose Santé’s cause he ‚Came To Jack‘ and Marco #Faraone with his brilliant remix of ‚Kot-anda‘.
Last but not least #Rampue and #Nachtbraker give me the stuff I need chill down…
